Hello there.
I’m currently helping my business partner, Finlit Media, look for a very specific kind of talent.
We are looking for a bunch of extroverted finance people.
Let me explain.
You know that person, who has spent their whole life in Finance. Or yearns to learn more about investments.
Acronyms like DCF, WACC, EV, LBO, FCFF, IRR, MOIC send a small electric thrill down their spine.
Your whole life, you are analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable with risk, numbers and data.
And now…
You want to break free from the spreadsheet!
Don’t get me wrong, you are still obsessed with markets and money.
But you also enjoy talking about it, explaining it, debating it, you know… making financial literacy interesting like MrMoneyTV.
So here’s the experiment.
We are looking for young finance professionals (0-2 years experience) who might want to explore something slightly unconventional.
Instead of crunching numbers, you might also:
– Learn how financial content is filmed
– Understand lighting and camera work
– Experiment with editing edutaining videos
– Help build a community that actually enjoys talking about money
– And work with difficult people like AuntyHR 💀
Don’t worry.
I will not ask for your firstborn to appreciate your work (inside joke).
I’m just wondering if you’re curious enough to translate finance into something people actually want to watch and learn from.
So if this sounds like you, send your resume and short cover email to Finlit Media:
career@finlitmedia.co
Tell us in the cover email:
1. Whether you’re game to learn content creation
2. And what financial topic you wish more people understood
I know you are out there. I’ve worked with a few of you before.
Come forth with us.
Affordable labour like interns are welcome too.
xoxoxo, your favourite Aunty 💀
