I consider myself lucky. For every job I landed, I never went through more than 2 interviews.
But I had a colleague who had to go through 9 rounds before securing a job. He used to joke, “What is this, applying to be the next Prime Minister?”
🤣
While it sounds excessive, multiple interview rounds are common because each stage serves a purpose:
✅ Initial screening
✅ Technical fit
✅ Culture fit
✅ Approvals and negotiation
Still… 9? I also think it’s over that.
Let’s compare notes 👇
What’s the most number of interview rounds you’ve gone through before getting the job?
