I am blessed that numbers are able to talk to me easily. So when I was in school, maths for me is cool (and quite easy). The next subject I was always intrigued with was Science (oh I love playing with experiments in the school lab). That plus my connection with numbers, Physics was something that connects with me well too.
That is why when I went to college, majoring in engineering was quite a natural progression. However, I was also a talkative kid. I love reading stories and I love telling stories (exaggerating too). So when I graduated, I thought how can I combine my story telling skills with my engineering knowledge? So, it was not surprising my first permanent job was a Sales Engineer.

And as I am reflecting the transition in career now, from primary school to secondary to college to university to entering the workforce, I realised I have been extremely lucky, I worked hard yes, but you do need some luck along the way too.
Just like how Thomas Jefferson said it, “The harder I work, the more luck I seem to have.”
