The first month of the year sets the tone for everything that follows. Before the pace picks up with meetings, deadlines, and “urgent” requests, there are two important conversations every employee should prioritise early in the year.

Use this time to agree on what success looks like, especially how it will be measured, and what support is available.

2️⃣ Plan your annual leave in advance
Rest should be planned. Put your leave dates on the calendar early, you allow yourself and your team to plan work properly around those periods.
Let our work to be structured around our life, not the other way round. Sustainable performance requires good rest too.
