Should you invest RM45 a month (or RM75 in the future) in LINDUNG 24 Jam?
Here are a few scenarios to consider.
Scenario 1: You’re just starting your career
– No medical card
– No Personal Accident insurance
– No life insurance
For less than RM50 a month today, having an extra layer of protection may be a sensible place to start.
Scenario 2: You already have a company medical card
– Remember, a medical card mainly helps with hospital bills
– It doesn’t necessarily replace your income if you’re seriously injured and unable to work
You may want to consider whether LINDUNG 24 Jam fills a gap that your existing benefits don’t.
Scenario 3: You ride a motorcycle every day
– Or you spend hours on the road for work.=
– Or you’re physically active and regularly cycle, hike, or play sports
Your risk of accidental injury may be higher than someone who works from home. An accident-focused scheme could deserve a closer look.
Scenario 4: You already have everything (like I do)
– A comprehensive medical card
– Personal Accident insurance
– Life insurance
– Critical illness cover
– Disability income protection
Now the question becomes… Does LINDUNG 24 Jam provide meaningful additional benefits, or would that monthly contribution be better spent increasing the cover I already have?
After thinking it through, I’ve decided to opt in. For me, RM45 a month is reasonable price to pay for an additional layer of protection that complements what I already have.
That doesn’t mean it’s the right decision for everyone.
The right decision depends on your existing coverage, your financial situation, and the risks you’re trying to protect yourself against.
Think about it.
