Be honest but don’t overshare. Keep it professional.
Don’t spend your time talking about all the nasty things that happened in your previous employment. Nobody wants to hire someone who spends the interview complaining about their last employer.
What we do want is to hire someone who is calm, takes ownership of their decisions, and knows what they’re looking for next.
So focus less on why you left.
Focus more on where you’re going and why you’re ready to move forward.
