Two potential leaders.
One is very capable but not very hungry to lead.
One is less capable but very hungry to lead.
So if we have a choice to only groom one, who do we choose to groom?
No brainer, right?
We choose the very hungry one because as much as we want to groom the person, it’s also very important for the person to really want to be groomed.
