Well, some people will tell me, we can look nice naturally without make up too.
Heck, if you google the question, “What makes one beautiful?” the top answers are going to be things like confidence, kindness, intelligence etc and nothing about how flawless one’s skin is.
That is true. Beauty is skin deep after all, indeed.
But… you also cannot deny the fact that make-up can make us look nice too! Especially a nice stick of lipstick! It does accentuate that big smile of mine, don’t you think?
I love taking selfies. And I love posting them to show people how I want to be seen. Narcissism? Perhaps. But even if it is, I don’t see it as a bad thing after all. It does help with the confidence boost.
Because when I look at my selfies, I do see. I choose to see a person who is beautiful, kind and successful. Especially when I have my bright red lipstick Chanel lipstick on 💋
