I was staying at this Hotel Rosa when I was working at Malacca. This morning when I checked out, I was chatting with the friendly front desk, named Jang.
As I was admiring the esthetic decorations on the hotel walls, Jang explained to me that the numbers on the wall have their own meaning. Like for example this 81, is the year the owner of the hotel was borned.
Me: They trained you all this during orientation to explain about the wall decors?
Jang: Yes.
Me: How long have you been working here?
Jang: 5 years.
Me: Nice… You look happy working here.
Jang: Yes, I am (grins).
Me: What made you stay here for 5 years?
Jang: Because the owner treats us very well. He really takes care of us here well.
Awwww… And for that reason, I will recommend you to come to Hotel Rosa.
Treat your staff well, and they will be happy.
And when the staff are happy, they will make the guests happy.
And when the guests are happy, they will help to write you a good review. Win-win.

P.S. Besides service meletops, the room is clean and comfy. Very instagrammable. And the breakfast spread is very authentic too.
