This is Vin. He is the first follower I went out makan with from TikTok.
Vin is also very young. Like 2 decades younger than me.
One thing that I love interacting with young blood like Vin is that there are so many things I can learn from them. Whilst the old like me brings experience and wisdom, the young never fail to bring me fresh perspectives and innovative ideas.
Now, Vin is also currently a student studying to be an Aesthetician, so he does know a lot about skincare. The opportunist I am, I took the advantage to bring him to go shopping after ice cream to help me out with my aunty eye bags.
After purchasing the eye cream, he then taught me how to apply the eye cream. Gently dab the eye cream under my eyes and gently massage my eyes in an inward circular motion with my ring fingers. It’s recommended to use the ring finger because apparently, the strength of the ring finger is just the right one to prevent tugging and pulling of the delicate skin around the eye area.
Aaahhh…. like that….
So yes indeed, embracing this 2-way street intergenerational learning, the young and the old can enrich each other’s lives. And in my case, my much improved eye bags =D
