When Malaysia first went on a lockdown, India was already working from home and had a WFH policy ready. They shared with us the policy so we managed to have one launched in time for the lockdown.
Honestly, I agree Singapore had better SOPs when managing Covid, so very often Singapore colleagues will share with us their best practices so we can see what we can adopt here to curb the disease.
When Indonesia went on a lockdown next, we shared with them our policy documents, best practices and lessons we have learnt from ours.
Everybody jumped in to help one another especially during dire times. Although we are not from the same country, borderless learning had taken place without traditional barriers of geography, culture or language. It has became of the most memorial experience I had working in this big HR family across APAC during the pandemic.
