INTERNATIONAL OFFICE BUILDING – DAY
Keanu Reeves walks into a busy office, his eyes taking in the hustle and bustle around him. He approaches a group of employees gathered in the pantry.
KEANU (looking around the employees): Why do we work?
The employees paused, looking at Keanu with surprise.
KEANU (CONT’D): Is it just to pay the bills? To put food on the table? Or is there something more?
The employees start to murmur amongst themselves, unsure how to answer. Keanu paces back and forth.
KEANU (CONT’D): I believe that work is about more than survival. It’s about creating something, building something, making a difference to society.
The employees start to listen, their expressions becoming more engaged.
KEANU (CONT’D): Every day, you gave the chance to make a difference in someone’s life. To help a colleague, to solve a problem, to create something new and innovative. That’s why we work.
The employees nod, starting to feel inspired.
KEANU (CONT’D): So don’t just show up to punch the clock. Show up to work with purpose and with passion. Show up with the knowledge that you have the power to make a difference. To be the best version of yourself, and to help others do the same.
The employees smile, feeling motivated and ready to tackle the day.
KEANU (CONT’D): Now, let’s get to work.
Keanu walks away leaving the employees feeling energized and ready to make a difference.
