My friend may not have much time left.
She has lost the functionality of both her kidneys and undergoes dialysis three times a week, with an internal jugular central line catheter near her shoulder blade. Despite of these hardships, she’s holding onto her adventurous spirit.
One of her bucket list dreams is to experience white water rafting. Given the physical nature of this sport, we’re seeking advice on how to safely secure her catheter line during the activity.
