This is a true story. I walked into a bank to open a savings accounts for my son.
The bank officer told me, why not also set up an education fund from the bank’s insurance partner for my son and I agreed to have a short meeting with a Financial Advisor on duty to see what they had to offer. She explained to me about the savings policy and how it’s never too early to invest in our children’s future. Moreover, the cost of education is getting so expensive today and will only get worse in the future. That made so much sense, so I bought the policy.
Then, I saw a cute Disneyland coin box and I squealed, “So cuteeee!” Then the Financial Advisor told me, “Why don’t you buy another savings policy for yourself and I will give the coin box to you.”
So I walked into a bank to open a savings account, and ended up buying two insurance policies.
