Frenemies

In the heat of conflict, being the first to apologize is never easy. We hesitate, not wanting to appear the weaker one, especially when we believe we weren’t the ones who started it.

But I’ve come to understand that the true victor is the bigger person who steps forward first to say sorry. They’re not only admitting to membabi bersama, they’re also moving beyond it.

As Sun Tzu said in ‘The Art of War,’ “Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.”
