Recently, I had the honour of speaking at the MRCA & MDEC 100 Go Digital Finale Series event on “Building the Right Culture for Digital Transformation”. I shared insights from my 20 years in the workforce industry, leading organisational changes focused on technology improvements.
At the end of my presentation, I received a token of appreciation and a heartwarming comment from the MRCA President that my presentation was “very entertaining”. That compliment meant a lot to me because my goal is to blend entertainment with education. I believe that learning, especially for adults, should be fun!
Just because I sprinkle humour throughout my talks doesn’t mean I undermine the seriousness or the pain involved in those experiences. Instead, I’ve learned to look at the lighter side of things – a strategy to keep my spirits high and my blood pressure low!
