Earlier this week, I was invited to participate in a panel discussion with the senior leaders of @adnexio, talking about the future of HR with AI.

My honest opinion, HRMS has made significant progress over the years, but to say it has reached the level of being “intelligent” might be a stretch. While HRMS systems excel at managing numerous transactional processes, I’ve yet to see a system that can predict strategic outcomes, such as forecasting employee turnover, rising insurance cost, identifying potential leadership gaps, or predicting the impact of employee engagement on productivity. Well, not at an affordable price anyway.

However, the potential for the future is what truly excites me, particularly with what adnexio might bring to the table in the next five years. The power of Big Data is undeniable, and it’s already starting to transform numerous organisations.

With the right integration of AI and machine learning, I believe we are on the brink of seeing HRMS not only handling day-to-day tasks but also provide actionable insights and foresight into workforce planning and management. So let’s keep our eyes on the horizon – looking forward towards innovations that could make our HR operations not just efficient but truly intelligent!
