I see many people reached out to the LinkedIn community to enhance their chances of finding new opportunities by posting an #OpentoWork post. It’s important to strike the balance in such posts, expressing eagerness without sounding desperate.

Begin our post by expressing gratitude, which sets a positive tone and shows that we value our professional journey and network. Be specific about the types of roles we are interested in and the skills we bring to the table.

Don’t forget to briefly mention our key accomplishments without going overboard. Instead of just asking for help, mention that we are open to sharing our own insights or assistance, making the interaction more reciprocal. Close with a soft call to action, encouraging our network to share our post or get in touch if they know any suitable opportunities.
