Throughout my journey of creating content, I’ve had brands approach me and then drop me halfway because I did not meet “global” standards. I’ve even had personal friends question my capabilities just because my pseudonym doesn’t meet their “professional” standards.
Well, not Seek.
Today, I want to personally thank the team in Jobstreet for accepting me for who I am. I remember when the Executive Producer called me to discuss the Career Tips 101 Series project, she reminded me to be myself on set. It’s okay even if I felt like cussing, they would manage it (but of course, I remained professional and didn’t hehe).
And that is who you want to work for. Remember that when you go for job interviews. Have a good conversation with your potential boss and decide,”Do I really want to work for this one?” Be yourself (plus maybe 5% more hehe).
