And let’s be real. Hiring managers almost always prefer someone who can hit the ground running. They want experts. Someone who knows their stuff. That’s what specialization is all about.
Even we’re more willing to pay a premium for an expert.
Pick a technical skill.
Pick a soft skill.
Pick another skill you’re passionate about.
Combine these three skills, and that will be your niche.
And then practice, practice, practice until you get better and better.
Specialise, specialise, specialise.
