Many, many years ago, I could barely make ends meet. So I couldn’t afford nice clothes, let alone “fat dresses” that fit and flattered me. Trust me, plus-size fashion wasn’t cheap back then (this was way before Shein came into the picture).
One day, my boss just couldn’t tahan the way I dressed anymore. So, she brought me to MS. READ, a leading Malaysian fashion brand that specialises in well-fitted clothing for women sizes UK12 to UK24. She sponsored me a few dresses so I could look more professional at work.
That’s why MS. READ has always had a special place in my heart.
Fast forward to today… MS. READ reached out to me to collaborate on their International Women’s Day campaign. In that moment, all the memories of my kind and generous boss came rushing back.
