Knowledge is power, I do believe in it.
With knowledge, I do feel that it empowers me to make better decisions in my life, especially at work.
There are so many ways we can gain knowledge.
Read. Ask. Experiment. Write. Listen. Observe. And my personal favourite is talk. Having conversations with the experts, the people who are knowledgeable in specific subjects is one of the best way to gain knowledge.
I also noticed that as my knowledge grew, so did my career. It is correlated.
There is this saying in Malay that loosely translates to “Puppies will not be fox cubs” which means people who are not knowledgeable are likely not going to get a good position.
I want growth in my career, so the desire to expand my knowledge is critical.
For I want to be a fox cub too, one day.
