Oh leaders do love challenges. You know what they love more? Challenging the challenges.
This somehow reminded me the old saying, “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.” Honestly, I am quite on the fence with this. One hand there is a logic to that phrase, but then again, really? Do we want to wait for it to be broken so we get to fix it?
One thing the pandemic has thought me is this – Business as usual, unusually. Yes, business needs to run like usual but how we no longer can run business the usual ways anymore.
I have said this & I will say it again – Innovation is at an all time high now. Experiment. Take risks. Venture into the unknown.
Look out for new opportunities. Start new initiatives. Explore new projects. Celebrate new wins & create new rewards!
Talk is easy, I know. So we do it progressively. Celebrate small victories to build confidence. We spend so much time at work, we need to make it exciting!
Meanwhile also remember It’s okay when we fail too. Learn from experience and bounce back.
Challenge complacency even it’s so cozy there. Challenge the status quo even if it’s not broken. Challenge the challenge & be a trend setter.
