The first external paid training I went to was a training about grooming. Honestly, I don’t really remember much about the training contents.
But I remember this. During Q&A, there was this young man who asked the trainer a question (that was not related to grooming). He shared that he has this manager and that they are not getting along. His manager is rude, not supportive, doesn’t listen, basically manager from hell. He asked, “How can I change his manager to be better?”
The trainer then told the young man, “You don’t change your manager to be better. You just change your manager.”
A lot of times we think we don’t have choices who we want to report to. But we actually do. Just sometimes the alternative choices might be worse that is why we choose to put up with the current one.
Happy weekend everyone. I have been missing work for the past 10 days, consequences of bad choices I have made for my health. So, if you have a medical check up that is overdue, my advice is make the right choice and don’t postpone it any further. Trust me.
