Day 6, Sun: I tested a strong positive again. But this time, I don’t have the will to be emotion positive anymore. Coincidentally, Eric was texting me. I called him & cried.
Day 7, Mon: After my weekend emotion outburst, I felt better. Results were still positive, but it’s a faint T-line this time. Hopeful I felt. Hopeful for a better tomorrow.
Day 8, Tue: Finally! Negative! After 7 days, my husband finally kissed me. But to be safe, he quarantined me still for another day. Patience I told myself. Just one more day.
Day 9, Wed: So nerve wrecking this morning when I was waiting for my results, I cried again. I tested again & again & again cause I really wanted to be sure.
It was such an ecstatic joy when the last test kit showed a negative. Clear as day. As I stepped outside my front gate, I felt a new found freedom.
So drama? Perhaps. But indeed, this whole Covid experience is truly something. Such a valuable experience. Esp the emotion rollercoaster.
An experience that I truly cherish. And no, I hope I don’t get it again. Choy!
