I do take pride in servicing customers. And like most, I do have my fair share of hit-and-miss too.
But when I did get a hit, the effects of the hit made me feel like I was on top of the world.
Like the time I went on a regional call with the customer, all countries struggled with SLAs in red, but Malaysia was all green.
Like the time when I left my company, the customer insisted in following me to the new company so I could continue to service her.
Like the time I put in extra efforts to resolve the customer’s problem & the customer was so grateful that he took the trouble to send a compliment email to my boss.
Such reaffirmations that I delivered the great Customer Experience does bring this ecstatic rush in me. There will be this certain feeling of high. Dopamine is being released now inside. And it pushes me to strive to continue to up my service & even to correct the times I missed too.
