I was so offended with that statement at so many levels.
“Have you even interviewed him?”
“No. But the client is strict about the age requirement.”
“Screw the client. Interview him first, then only judge if he’s too old.”

Today, I turned Forty Fucking Four. But I will tell you this. I am super confident to say my energy level is higher than a lot of you thirty-fours & twenty-fours out there.
I inject enthusiasm in meetings. I infect people with my laughter. I induce electricity into the workplace. I. Am. The. Fucking. Life. Of. Parties.
But, you will not able to see and know all that by reading my resume or analysing my date of birth in my IC.
Because the matter of fact is, you need to communicate with me.
Have lunch with me. Talk to me. Text me even. Experience me. Then, you shall see and know.
Am I over 40? Yes. Am I too old for the job? Pffft… perhaps the job is too old for me 🙄.
