I am not always snobbish like that, you know. I still remember the days when I had to think over again if I wanted to buy that RM12.90 Chap Ayam shorts in Tesco before deciding to charge it to my credit card.
But when I did have the money to choose quality over quantity, I realised the wise choice should be quality anytime, by far.
So instead of having 3 pairs of RM49.90 shoes, which I can match with different dresses but heels will break 18 months later, I bought a pair of RM269.90 shoes which were very comfortable and lasted me 3 years.
So instead of hiring 3 fresh grads at RM2,200, who were eager to learn but I need to spend time teaching and correct their mistakes when they screwed up, I hired a RM8,500 expert who got the work done without my help and even taught me a thing or two.
10 Chap Ayams do not make up to 1 LV, I always say. Quality vs. Quantity. Quality always come first. Anytime.
Then, you will meet the greedy, demanding Chinese like me and May Chong. We want peng, leng, jeng 平靚正. Cheap, looks good and high in quality.
