One of my staff has been assigned to pack the store room.
Her grandmother’s sister just passed away in Seremban. She had granddaughter duties to chauffeur grandma to Seremban and accompany her.
Last night she texted me and was apologising profusely that her grandmother wanted to stay in Seremban another day so she couldn’t make it on time to come back to the office to pack the storeroom.
I replied, “Don’t worry, I will manage it.”
She continued to apologise.
I told her, “It’s okay, grandma is more important. Besides, this gives me super good contents to write I am the best boss in the world, right?”
She then replied, “Yesss! Without a doubt.”
Aaaahhh… That will do it. Makes all the hard work worthwhile 😉
