Nothing can bond us Malaysians together better than FOOD!!
The other day, my colleague came to ask me, “Ling, if we want to do Raya makan-makan at office, can or not?”
Aih. I did think about it for a while. Though SOPs loosened up, doesn’t mean we are not at risk. But at the same time, as we are approaching this endemic era, I have to learn how to loosen up too and live better.
So I allowed it. And I am glad I did.
For the first time in more than 2 years, all of us at the backbone team finally came together and makan-makan together in the office. I had the privilege to sit down to dine & get to know these young chirpy girls in person (except Kak Zila, she tua like me hehe). We even exchanged IG accounts!
I had such a good time laughing, eating good food & having good ol’ fun with everybody.
Now, so full I am, oh my sugar, I refuse to move.
