Yesterday, when I was watching Top Gun in the cinema (btw very entertaining), there was this KFC ad which came up.
The ad was showing how so many of us have fond memories of KFC. Birthdays, dates, parties, gatherings etc. Good times indeed.
It’s so relatable, you know. A lot of people I know personally, too have fond memories of KFC.
I remember when the first time I saw KFC. I was a teenager back then and it was the first franchise fast food outlet opened in Sandakan. I used to hang out there with my classmates & we’d be talking about our future & how it’ll be like to be adults.
Back then, they served us with actual forks and plates. Not plastics.
And a more recent memory was during lockdown. We organized a company wide virtual townhall for the first time. HR manually ordered KFC boxes to be delivered to every employee’s household. There were over 200 of us & on delivery day, it was raining in major cities.
Oh, it was a nightmare. But everybody loved the KFC boxes, which made it all worth it.
