Though William was quite new to the industry, Carly saw the potential in William, hence recommended him to the company. So through Carly, William managed to secure a job as a Project Manager.
William was assigned to manage a new project for the company & reported to the head of the project, Tom. William was struggling with the project and went to Tom to ask for help.
Tom said, “Well, you know Carly so well. Why don’t you go ask her for help instead like how you always did?”
William felt insulted. He walked away & told himself, “It’s okay, I will figure this out on my own myself.” Pride.
William continued to struggle on the project and because of what Tom said, he refused to go to Carly to ask for help though he knew she could and would.
Finally, William decided to leave the job. Eventually, Tom left too.
