Today, I want to take a moment to recognize the many, many successful women who have shattered the glass ceiling and risen to the top of their respective fields. We who worked tirelessly to overcome the challenges and obstacles especially in the workplace.
Despite progress made in recent years, but let’s be real about what is happening in the corporate world today – sexism and gender discrimination still exist. Women are often subjected to unfair treatment, such as being paid less than their male counterparts or being passed over for promotion due to their gender.
That is why it’s always nice to see organizations who are increasingly recognizing the value of diversity in their leadership teams & actively seeking to recruit and promote women.
But make no mistake. We are where we are today because we are capable and qualified for the job. Not because to simply fulfilling a quota.
