A lot of people have asked, “Why did you leave your job?” It’s a question that seems to linger in the minds of those who inquire about my recent departure. Curiosity laced with a hint a concern. Did something happen? Was there a rift? Did something go awry? Well, leaving a job doesn’t always imply a troubled narrative. Sometimes, it’s just about recognising the beauty of timing.
My job was fine. My bosses were fine. There was no dramatic exit or falling out. Instead, it was a carefully considered leap into the unknown, driven by a desire for personal growth and exploration.
We often find comfort in the familiar, the routine that has become our second nature to us. But occasionally, the allure of what lies beyond that comfort zone becomes irresistible. It whispers alluringly, enticing us to step outside the confines of familiarity and into the realm of possibility.
So, to those who question why I left, rest assured that all is fine. It was simply the pursuit of personal and professional evolution, a conscious decision to part ways with the known and embrace the unknown.
Besides, you know that saying, “Leave at your peak”? Well, that is what I am doing now. We’re striking it while I’m still hot!
