I was heading into myNEWS to grab breakfast. As I picked up a bottle of Oolong Tea with a stick of fishball and hotdog for myself, I tapao-ed another set for a street friend sitting outside. After paying for the food and drinks, I approached him and offered breakfast.
He glanced at the bag I was holding and asked, “What else is inside? Do you have orange juice?” I told him that I don’t have orange juice and in my bag is the same breakfast set that I offered him. Then he said thank you and accepted my breakfast offer.
This experience taught me a valuable lesson – sometimes, all it takes is a little courage to ask, especially when there’s nothing to lose.
Because the next time when I saw him again, I bought him orange juice, and he was super happy =D
