Confucius said, “The superior man is modest in his speech but exceeds in his actions.”

But at my workplace, “The ‘superior’ office talker is modest in their actions but exceeds in their ability to talk, talk, talk, while their actual work remains a well-kept secret.”

I’m sure there is always one like that in the office – excelling in talking themselves up, while actions may not always match their words. Just make sure it’s not you 🤭
