1. 🚔 The Policy Enforcers. HR often gets the reputation of being the office police. And honestly, sometimes these policies feel like they were created just to make life more complicated.
2. 😱 The Bearers of Bad News. Nobody wants to see HR pop up unexpected in their email or at their desk. Layoffs, benefit cuts, or the infamous “We have received a feedback about you..” HR often gets the unenviable task of delivering the tough messages.
3. 👩🏫 Training Session Time-Drains. Mandatory training sessions (every year!) on the most beautiful Friday afternoon of the year. Thanks, HR.
4. 🚽 The Hiring Black Hole. Applying for an internal transfer can often feel like sending your hopes into a void where feedback and timelines are swallowed whole. Resumes go in but never come out wei!
5. 🗣️ Secret Keeper or Gossip Mill? There’s a fine line between confidentiality and being completely out of the loop. Is HR protecting the secrets, or do they just forget to tell you what’s going on?
