I love going to flea markets and supporting the local community by hopping from stall to stall. When I was young, my mum owned a boutique that sold dresses. At 7, when my teacher asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I told her I wanted to be a salesgirl just like my mum.
So, when I first decided to leave the corporate world to pursue a career as a content creator full-time, one of my initial projects was to create my own merchandise to sell. It started with one notebook, and a year later, I have 10 types of Dilarang Bodoh merchandise available.
Honestly, the money isn’t great, but the entire journey—from creating my merch to selling it online and at a physical pop-up booth—has been an ecstatic experience for me. It’s like a little girl’s dream coming true to be a salesgirl, flea market style!
Anyway, I will be here at the MECA IR Convention 2024 from June 10th to 12th, 9am to 5pm. With around 20 exhibitors, including mine, the exhibition is open to the public at Sheraton PJ. Come, come!
