I had the privilege of being part of a panel during a Live Q&A session at MECA’s 2024 IR Convention earlier this week, alongside MECA’s CEO Victor Gan and prominent lawyer Dharmen Sivalingam.
I want to thank everybody, including the founder of Hunters Internationl who is also my ex-boss, May Chong, and my former HR team from PERSOLKELLY, who came to support my panel session. I also appreciate the many of you who have cheered me on in this career transition. Thank you for your playing with me on stage and laughing together as we learned together.
It was particularly special when the founding father of MECA, Mr. Bala (picture below), came to me personally at the end of the event and said, “Congratulations, AuntyHR. You were very good.”
Happy Father’s Day, everybody.Always treat others with kindness and respect, and don’t be afraid to stand up for what is right. Trust in our journey, for every step we take is a learning opportunity that shapes who we are.
