I’ve read about this case so many times because I was perplexed by how a large organisation like this one mismanaged its employee.
I always remind people PIP means Performance Improvement Plan. But often, companies confuse it with a PFP – Perfect Firing Plan.
It doesn’t work like that.
I’ve conducted quite a number of PIPs in my career, and employees do survive the plan (including myself).
