Dear Extroverts,
We, the vibrant, social butterflies. Oh! We light up every room we walk into, our energy contagious, our enthusiasm unstoppable. But… to an introvert, we can be a bit much. Sometimes, too much.
Don’t take it personally. It’s not that introverts don’t like us.
In fact, they love having us around to draw them out of their shells and expand their social circles. But introverts have this thing called a “social quota”. It’s not unlimited. For every burst of excitement and chatter, they need time to recover, reflect, and recharge.
So, when an introvert doesn’t match our energy or declines an invitation, it’s not a rejection. They might just need a quiet moment to breathe after riding the extrovert express. If you really want their company for a bit longer, here’re some tips:
💙 Respect their space and pace. They’ll come around when they’re ready.
💙 Tone it down sometimes. Not every conversation needs fireworks.
💙 Understand that their love language is different from ours.
Introverts might not always shout from the rooftops “I LOVE YOU!” but they appreciate you more than you know. Remember, even fireworks are best enjoyed with some quiet in between.
