(Also known as handling workplace drama, tantrums, and ‘urgent’ leave requests the morning after a public holiday.)

🤦🏻‍♀️ “I create company policies that nobody reads but everyone complains about.”
(And somehow, it’s still HR’s fault when things go wrong.)

🤦🏻‍♀️ “I’m a therapist, firefighter, lawyer, and babysitter – all rolled into one.”
(Except I don’t get paid enough for any of these roles.)

🤦🏻‍♀️ “I organise team-building events that no one wants to attend but later post on LinkedIn pretending they had the time of their lives.”
(#CompanyCulture, am I right?)

🤦🏻‍♀️ “I keep a straight face when someone says, ‘I didn’t know my probation was being extended.’”
(Your boss says otherwise, buddy.)

🤦🏻‍♀️ “I facilitate ‘open-door policies’ where employees rant, and I pretend I have the power to fix everything.”
(HR: listens, nods, writes notes. Leadership: does the exact opposite.)

🤦🏻‍♀️ “I politely remind people that ‘urgent’ and ‘poor planning’ are not the same thing.”
(Oh, you needed a new hire yesterday? Maybe don’t send me the JD at 5pm on a Friday.)
