What do we do?
Sigh.
For me, if I can, I try to step in and clean up the mess.
Somehow, I enjoy fixing sh t, and it trains me to be a problem-solver. Not weird, right? Please tell me I’m not alone.
Over two decades, I became so good at it that people started calling me the “helpdesk.”
Fixing other people’s problems.
Fixing other people’s mistakes.
Fixing situations no bosses wanted to touch.
While it’s exhausting, I’ve realised it gave me more than I ever expected.
👉 Every mess I cleaned up made me sharper.
👉 Every fire I put out made me calmer.
👉 Every problem I fixed made me more expensive.
Happy weekend, everybody!
Yes, dealing with incompetence is frustrating. But if you can flip the perspective, it can be the best training ground to build resilience and earn your reputation as someone who gets things done.
Think about it.
