POV: Career Stagnation

I know most of you don’t dare say it out loud.
Let me say it for you.

Sometimes… our career doesn’t grow, not because of us.
But because of our environment.
Boss included.

If you have a boss who is insecure, immature, or worse stagnant themselves, the whole team will get stuck together. No matter how good we are, there will always be limited growth when we report to someone who refuses to grow.

The other show stopper will be the company’s growth.
When business itself isn’t expanding, there is simple no space to grow talent.

Like… you can’t have 10 managers but only 2 staff, right?
It’s hard to promote people when the company isn’t moving.
And you can’t create new roles without new business.

I’m posting this because I want you to know…
If you’re feeling stuck, don’t blame yourself immediately.

Is your manager growing?
Is your company growing?

Your career needs both.
A Strong Leader + A Growing Company = Opportunity

So take control of your career and seek that opportunity.
Find a strong leader in a business structure that supports growth.
Put more effort to find your green place.

Think about it.
