Today I want to express my appreciation to the crew from PIK Film, who have been with me throughout the past week.
I was shortlisted to be featured in a documentary about women across Asia, and it has been such a lovely and eye-opening experience being part of a documentary production.
I was impressed by the discipline of the crew. They were always ahead of schedule. The Director of Photography said this perfectly, “If you’re punctual, you’re actually late.”
Another thing I admired was their commitment to zero waste. Every crew member carried their own water bottle or flask. Even when we stopped at a coconut stall for a hydration break, I decided to follow their lead and drank straight from the coconut without a straw, which is something I normally wouldn’t do.
It’s always refreshing to meet people who live out the values they believe in.
Thank you PIK Film and Deutsche Well (DWTV) for making this such a memorable experience. I can’t wait to see how the documentary turns out!
xoxoxo, AuntyHR
P.S. Special shoutout to Sophie for agreeing to appear in the street interview segment. Thank you for being such a good sport!
