Before you start your first job, here’s something I want you to understand.
You’re not expected to know everything. But you are expected to learn.
And yes, you will make mistakes. Sometimes, you’ll get scolded, sometimes you’ll meet difficult people and sometimes you’ll wonder why the heck nobody taught you something you’re apparently supposed to know.
Well, welcome to working life!
But here’s the thing – there’s a difference between being inexperienced and being incompetent.
So, ask questions, observe how things work, take feedback seriously and learn from your mistakes.
And while AI can help you find answers, it cannot replace the experience, judgement and people skills you’ll develop along the way.
Above all, be curious, stay humble and don’t let a few mistakes make you doubt your potential.
