You know, I have always love to connect with the HR Community. And after being 17 years in the business, I do know quite a few. And during this (ugh) unprecedented times (roll eyes), most of us would agree that we have been connected with each other a little bit more active than the usual. How could we not be?
So many things were never done prior. Because they are not known before. As of now, there are no precedented cases locally to refer to. So what we do? We learn from one another by sharing & exchanging ideas, experiences and best practices.
I have been fortunate enough to be part of some HR Community like MEF, where the members really help one another whenever there is a case that we are not familiar with. Everybody is open to share their problems in the public forum so we can learn & coach one another. LinkedIn too, where I posted my problems and the community wrote to me personally to render assistance. It eventually even lead me to meet a few new friends. Such camaraderie!
So today, I also want to express my personal gratitude to all of you in the HR Community out there for sticking together, helping one another, lifting each other’s spirits and attempting to solve each other’s problems every day. so it’s going to be a better place to live.
