My sister-in-law passed away recently from stage 4 cancer.
During the funeral, the funeral home brought us breakfast, lunch & dinner every day.
They told us that they know that during times like this they know we would be so busy managing her affairs that we won’t have the time to look for food. They were right.
When they passed to us her death certificate, they also had prepared for us a stack of copies of the death cert, knowing that we would need it & the printing shops are not opened now.
I do find these tiny gestures so thoughtful. That even times like this, it managed to put a smile on my face.
