Well, I was not always impulsive like that. Especially in my career. But I have learnt in my life that this back & forth, back & forth business, the disadvantages does outweigh the advantages. By far.
I remember there were many times when I wanted to move forth and someone/something will plant a seed of doubt in me and I would then decide to reverse back.
Like… when I wanted to pursue my education and I was not sure how I can make up with my school fees. Like… when I wanted to take up a promotion and I was not too sure if I was ready for it. Like… when I wanted to resign and a counter offer happened.
Then, it came to a point in my life, I was like, heck it! If I want to progress in my life, I shall focus on moving forth.
Because I don’t want to be on my death bed, wondering “What if”. Instead, I want to tell myself, “Babe, at least you tried” if it make sense.
Make no mistakes though. People as impulsive as me do make a lot of mistakes along the way and fall down. But it’s okay… we all fall down sometime. The trick is, we just need to remember to get back up and go back up.
Stay resilient and no regrets. Take the leap to the other side of the waterfall.
Happy Diwali Weekend EVERYBODY!! Tonight it’s going to be very excited for me! My husband finally said yes to bring me to the fun fair at Bukit Jalil. I can’t wait till 6pm today with my Vodka! Weeeeeeeeeeeee~~~~
