I googled, “Latest sensation in the music world” and these names came out: Billie Eilish, Selena Gomez, Jungkook.
What I realised they have in common? They write their own songs. They can sing live. They can dance. They are the bomb when performing on stage. They have great fashion sense, actively appearing on socials. And they are very, very successful in the music world.
And that is how it is right now. Being good at one thing is no longer good enough.
We need to excel in technical skills. We need to excel in soft skills. We need to look presentable. And more importantly we need to be out there.
If we want to be a sensation at the workplace, being good in one thing is no longer enough. At least be good in 3 things and really specialize in it.
I believe in order to be expensive and rise to new heights in our career, we need not to be Jack of All Trades but Master of More than One. So pick a few skills we are passionate about and excel in them.specialists are going to be the future.
Multi-Specialists are going to be the future.
